Strong Points

This interactive
map is 3d, it has a
nice, you can easily
identify any
location, and it has
a good site.

When identifying
the locations, it
automatically
shows pictures and
some information.

This map is the


most modern and
innovative out of
the chosen, it has
zoom, a good image
and shows enough
information about
the school.

Weak Points

I did not encounter


any weak points,
but there is
problem, you
cannot access with
a bad internet
connection and the
site is bit
complicated.

The map itself is


not in good
condition for a
creative and
innovative site, it is
a bit old and not
suitable for modern
tech.

The site is almost


perfect, but the
pictures shown do
not give a good
impression about
the school.

Strong Points

All the slides have info


about what is shown, the
hyperlinks work and enough
pictures are also shown.

I like the design, it


represents the school own
design and colors, a lot info
and pictures.

This school map is the most


creative and it has many
hyperlinks connecting
photos and info.

Weak Points

The design could have


been better with more new
ideas and better quality.

If the information and


pictures of teachers and
workers could have been
together it would be easier
to identify.

If you dont know how to use


you can get lost trying to
find something.

Part II. Problem and Need


A. Problem / Need:
The old AISM website contains an old AISM secondary school campus floorplan which can be downloaded in .pdf file.

The librarian also wants to have an interactive tour for the library.

Explain and justify the need for any 1 of the following: (in 1 paragraph, discuss at least 5 reasons)
changing the old campus floorplan into an interactive map
creating a virtual library tour
creating a virtual gallery of campus life or activities (sports, arts, theater, student life, environment, technology, etc.)

The AISM old campus is not a well planned campus, why?

It takes a lot of space that could have been used.


Some buildings are in bad condition.
The cafeteria is old and not suitable for children.
The library and tech lab are bit old and could be a new and more comfortable place to study or use the computers.
More classrooms and sports infrastructure can enable more students to come to AISM.
B. Design Challenge:
Your final project is to design and create any one of the following:
a. Interactive AISM campus map
b. Interactive AISM secondary school library map
c. Virtual gallery of AISM secondary school library
d. Virtual gallery of AISM campus activities (sports, arts, theater, environment, technology, etc.)
Choose 1 option from above. In 1 paragraph, describe what you would like to do for your final project.

For my final project I would like to create an interactive campus map. It would help us to locate ourselves better, it is a
challenging idea that could be taught and we would not have any issues with it in the future and more people would be
able to walk around campus knowing where they are going.

Based on my research, my interactive map has to be very functional and informative to the audience. These are the most
important features for a good and informative interactive campus map and it will help most people to locate themselves
and get to know more about the school. However the campus map should be creative and fun, it helps the audience to
understand and like my interactive map.
I will create a map that helps students and teachers to locate themselves and learn more about the school, it will benefit
every one that has a look at it.
With all the features and the powerpoint ready to be used with working pictures, videos and hyperlinks, it will be a good
source of information to the people looking at it.
