Expected action (steps)

Remove all jeweleries and watch from both hands. Roll up the sleeve up to elbow.
Turn on the tap and adjust the water flow. Wet the hands and forearm.
Apply enough soap to both hands and rub surface of both palms.
Rub interdigital spaces: Palm to palm with fingers interlaced.
Rub dorsum of both hands: Right palm over left dorsum with interlaced fingers
and vice versa.
Rub dorsum of fingers: Back of fingers to opposing thumb with fingers
interlocked and vice versa.
Rub both thumbs: rotational rubbing of the left thumb grasped in right palm and
vice versa.
Rub finger tips of each hand on palm: rotational rubbing of left fingers on right
palm and vice versa.
Using the right palm to rub the left wrist and vice versa.
Rinse with water from finger tips to elbow.
Use elbow to turn off the elbow tap.
Dry hands thoroughly from finger tips downwards to wrist with single use of clean
tissue.
Discard the used tissue in non-medical waste bin.
