Volunteer Corps
RATIONALE
The Volunteer Corps Committee is one of the standing committees of the University of
the Philippines Cebu Student Council. It is currently headed by Councilor Darl Octa Henessa
Santos.
The role of the Volunteer Corps is to help the Student Council in all its campaigns and
activities. VolCorps members are also members of the other committees.
Attached below are the activities of the committee for the 1st semester of the academic
year 2014- 2015.

Results
As of now, we have
around 80-90
VolCorps Member.
It was attended by 5060 members and they
were able to choose
their comittees after
the orientation.

Members were
assigned to different
committees, including
their shiftings.
Members helped with
the putting of black
ribbons around the
campus, they
attended the Oblation
Cloaking, Forum, and
Candle lighting. Also
there was a VolCorps
member who gave
her solidarity
message during the
Oblation Cloaking.
And the emcee during
the forum was a
VolCorps member.

Note:
Other activities may depend on the committees they are assigned to. On behalf of the UP Cebu
Student Council, I would like to commend te VolCorps members since they are all participative.
