Recess Outside? You Bet!

We want to remind students and their parents of our policy
regarding outside recess. It is necessary that students come
to school with outerwear ready to go outside. All students go
outside for recess unless it is raining or the wind chill factor
is below 0 degrees or colder. We remind students to wear

Counselors Corner
Dear Delta Center Families,
This week is National School Counseling
Week, Feb. 2-6. It is a week sponsored by
the American School Counselors Association
(ASCA) to highlight the tremendous impact school
counselors can have in helping students achieve school
success.
In Grand Ledge, you will find school counselors advocating
for students in a variety of ways: counseling with individual
students, teaching classroom lessons, facilitating
educational support groups, providing career and college
counseling assistance, attending and presenting to
professional colleagues at state conferences, consulting
and collaborating with parents and teachers, serving on
various school improvement teams, and serving as an
integral member of the educational team to help create a
positive school environment for all.
Grand Ledge school counselors are privileged to be part of
preparing students today for the challenges and
opportunities of a global society.
If you would like to learn more about the school-counseling
program at Delta Center please do not hesitate to call or
email me.
Make It A Great Day!
