Take Flight
Trip Notice # 2

Thank you all those who have returned their camp notices and to the parents who
have offered to provide transport. Were pleased to say that we have enough
transport to now only require one bus. This reduces the cost per child down from
approximately $15 to $4.00 per child (there is no cost to children whose parents who
are providing transport). The school will subsidise the balance of the cost.

Please return payment with the slip below prior to Thursday 12 February.
If you have not returned your permission slip please do so immediately.

Thursday 12th February Lake Okataina

Our planned timetable is as follows:

9:00am depart school
10:30am morning tea at Lake Okataina with Flight Deck
3 x hour rotations of activities run by senior students
1:00pm lunch (children bring their own) lakeside
1:30pm depart Lake Okataina to return to school before 3:00pm
Children will need:
- Shoes & socks suitable for walking (no jandals or gumboots)
- Mufti clothes (practical for walking in)
- Warm shirt (incase its cold)
- Raincoat
- Sunhat
- Packed morning tea and lunch
- Drink

Please remember that all children travelling by car will need to supply an
approved booster seat for use in a private vehicle as per NZTA rules.

(The planned transportation list will come home on Wednesday please check carefully
if your child needs to bring a booster seat)
