Dear Class of 2012:

I am the Course Director of the Clinical Course, which will be held from Tuesday,
April 28 thru Friday, May 1, 2012.
The course will still involve a mix of lectures and small group sessions, and the
small group sessions will still include both clinical case discussions and personal
formulary presentations. However, students will research and present both
assigned cases and cases from their own clinical experience, as well as preparing
and presenting personal formulary presentations.
There will be no exams. However the course is required and attendance and
participation are mandatory. To pass the course you need to participate in the
required exercises, as noted above, unless I specifically excuse you for a valid
reason. Under limited special circumstances, such as participating in an elective out
of town at the time of the course, students may be excused from attendance but
must request this in advance of the course (exception personal or family
emergency) by contacting me directly (see contact information below). Students
excused from attendance must still do the exercises and submit the written
presentations.
