Increase the service life of your bearings with SensorMount

What you see is what you get
Mounting errors are one of the most common causes of
premature bearing failure. Especially drive-up of bearings
on tapered seatings stands out as a critical operation.
To virtually eliminate possible errors and increase the
service life of your bearings SKF has developed and patented
SensorMount a revolutionary way to control bearing inner
ring expansion during drive-up on tapered shaft seatings.

SensorMount

ON
0FF

SensorMount allows large SKF spherical roller bearings

and CARB to be mounted simply, quickly and reliably.
The system comprises a bearing with a sensor and a
hand-held indicator. The signal from the sensor is picked
up by the indicator which displays a value representing
the internal clearance reduction (mm) divided by the bore
diameter (m).
As the indicator displays what is actually happening
with the bearing itself, it does not matter what material the
seating is made of or whether the shaft is solid or hollow.
