    Network Performance Monitoring / Packet Analysis


    Network Management and Monitoring Tools & Packet Analyzers
    1. Download NM tools, Check their performance and compare. Use at least 5 tools.
    You will have comprehensive knowledge of at least one and demonstrate it
    completely.
    Network Monitoring Tools may include MRTG, SolarWinds Orion Network
    Performance Monitor, Paessler Router Traffic Grapher (PRTG) and Just for Fun
    Network Management System (JFFNMS) etc.
    2. Demonstrate Packet Analysis: How TCP, UDP, IP, Ethernet and other PDUs are
    represented in Packet Analyzers (Ethereal/Wireshark) or other

    3. Demonstrate conversion of XML DTD to Schema and MIB to XML Schema


    through relevant tools
