WHAT IS CRDi ?
CRDi Stands for Common Rail Direct
Injection. It is an advanced way of
controlling Fuel injection in a Diesel Engine.

or ECU.

CRDi works in accordance with Euro Norms or
Bharat Stages.
Fuel injection is fully controlled by electronic
systems.
Better mixing of fuel with air inside the cylinders.
DISADVANTAGES
High costs are involved.
Cant be used in old vehicles.
CONCLUSION
CRDi revolutionalized Diesel Engines and
also Petrol Engines (by using GDI technique).
The % of un-burnt fuel and particle
emission are reduced.
In present scenario.. It is the best available
technology for fuel injection. Hence it is used
by big brands like BMW, Ford, Hyundai,
Toyota, Tata, Mahindra.
