Crashworthy Troop/Utility Seat System are:

Energy Absorption System - Variable

Load Energy Attenuation


System (VLEAS) is Patented** and is a new state-of-the-art passive energy
absorption system designed by East/West. This system is designed to absorb
and limit impact loads, thereby providing pelvic and spinal protection upon
vertical impact in an emergency crash situation.

Easy Replacement of the VLEAS - In the

event the VLEAS has


been activated due to hard landings during normal flight maneuvers, it can be
easily replaced in minutes.

Harness Restraint System - The

AAATS System is designed for a


three(3), four(4), or five(5) point occupant restraint system which is released by
means of a single centerpoint rotating release buckle. The five(5) point restraint
system includes a strap between the occupant's legs, which prevents submarining
under the lap belt.

The AAATS System is a versatile Troop/Utility Seat which can


be bulkhead, floor, or ceiling mounted for forward, aft and side
facing seat configurations. It is easily retrofitable in any rotary
wing aircraft (such as: H-1, UH-1Y, H-3, H-46, H-47, H-53,
H-60, and V-22). It has been designed for quick and easy
installation and removal by maintenance personnel for rapid
mission reconfiguration of aircraft.
