Professional Experience
MASS COMMUNICATION SPECIALIST - United States Navy, 1997
2014.
A successful record for managing compound organizations, leading a
diverse workforce, maintaining millions of dollars in assets, and developing
successful teams. Applied various experience overseas, on ships, and at
stateside commands as public affairs specialist and visual information
specialist.
Leadership

Provided leadership skills to the U.S. Navys largest combat camera


detachment. The staff size included 52 active duty, 26 reservists, 12
support personnel and 6 civilians. Provided direct support to the complete
upgrade of equipment and facilities to meet increasing demands of the
mission.

Operations &
Logistics:

Instituted management policies and procedures resulting in standardized


systems to track projects. Scheduled the movement of personnel and
equipment to support the command mission anytime, anywhere.
Successfully contributed and worked with nonprofit organizations to
provide assistance in inventory, controls, and event coordination. Awarded
the Outstanding Volunteer Medal in 2014.

Training &
Development:

Spent the last two years acting as the Assistant Training Officer and
Assistant Safety Officer. Authored organizational directives that added new
training programs covering 32 qualifications in 19 professional education
subjects for leadership development. Honored with company special
recognition for development of Drug Education for Youth curriculum for
Joint Base Andrews.
