NorSmart Data Transfer

Control system features

NorSmart Data Transfer

Control system features

Data is stored in internal memory

Data can be downloaded to USB drive when ever needed

Data can be sent to customer directly from control system either by:

LAN / WLAN
GPRS
E-mail (requires MSMTP client setting in NorSmart)

Data is sent as .txt file

Data file can be imported to MS Excel
In future xml format is available

Data can be sent to customer by:

E-mail for automatic data transfer to customers e-mail address, requires GPRS modul in NorSmart
Tftp polling, requires very minimal network infrastructure. Server writes a file to NorSmart which
creates data file. Server reads data file from NorSmart.
SCP (Secure Copy Protocol), requires SSH server in customers network where data is sent.
NorSmart is configured with correct IP address and user ID to sign in to customers network. Data
is sent automatically when working shift is closed.

Requirements for data transfer

NorSmart control system data transfer activation (parameter)
IP address activation in NorSmart (for LAN / WLAN)
Authentication key pair installation from Server to NorSmart
SSH server at customers end (for automatic data transfer)
WLAN / GPRS router (preferreably from customer)
