Subject: Invitation to Participate in the Book Fair Activities

ENS Abu Dhabi City Campus is proud to announce our 2015 Book Fair: Windows to the World (February
23 - March 2). Each school (Manaseer, Al Nahyan Girls School, and Al Nahyan Boys School) will offer a
variety of books from different book shops as well as events and activities run by staff, parents, students,
and external organizations to promote literacy and inquiry. It is important that our children develop a
habit of reading. Parents and educators play a vital part in being role models to children and participating
in the learning process.
It is our pleasure to give you (fathers and mothers) the opportunity to participate by running an activity of
your own for visitors at a corner during the book fair. Examples of activities could be cooking, drawing,
flower arranging, gift wrapping, science experiments, calligraphy, poetry, writing stories, reading stories,
puppet show, and face painting of book characters.
All participants will be honored by the school and given certificates of participation. For those who are
willing to participate, kindly communicate with the librarian at your school no later than Thursday 19
February and please specify the following:
1. Name of participant 2. Kind of activity 3. Duration of the activity 4. Target or age group
5. Preferable days and times (during the days of the book fair)
