Students are responsible for any missed work when out due to illness or school related events. All
work must be completed within the 3-day grace period.
Chemistry remediation is offered during the week when needed. Please use the designated Viking
Rap Period for tutoring. If you need more time for assistance I ask for at least one day notice if
you will be attending before or after school to make arrangements. There is a sign up board in the
classroom. Most sessions are offered Tues-Thursday until 4:15 in the afternoon. (If students do
not have a ride at 4:15, they will not be allowed to stay after.)
Students will know their averages approximately every three weeks. They will receive progress
reports each marking period. Each teacher is to provide all students with one progress report
during the mid marking period. Parents can join Powerschool and see grades daily,
Students receive a calendar for each month on www.edmodo.com, telling each night homework

pay attention to class time for changes.
Students are required to join the class www.edmodo.com account and parents are strongly
encouraged to join as well. Text messages and alerts are sent daily of notifications of class
assignments, tests, and daily topics being discussed. This allows students and parents to stay in
