Reading
During our morning reading block time on
Monday and Wednesday, the students will
complete their MAP tests in reading and math. On
Sunday we will work through a practice test in
which specific test taking strategies will be
reviewed. Tuesday and Thursday will be standard
reading block times where students will receive
and begin new reading books according the their
current reading level.

Math
We continue unit five this week,
relating do fractions, decimals
and percents. It is the longest
and most detailed unit we have
worked on so far this year. The
students will learn division and
multiplication rules for finding
equivalent fractions, practice
renaming fractions as decimals
and conduct review activities of
rounding numbers containing

decimals.
