Time limit for completion of works — please confirm whether 16/04/2015 is the deadline which cannot be changed in any case except conditions listed in Particular conditions (Appendix E) Answer: Correct 3. Pricing ~ please clarify whether this Contract is based on unit price system which shall apply to actually measured (executed) quantities of works (cl. 70.1 of Particular Conditions and cl 55.1 of General Conditions of the Contract). Answer: Yes Correct, Work done will be remeasured on completion and unit rates tendered will apply fo final quantities 4. Responsibility for Design documents - please clarify whether Contractor is due to examine Design documents upon which building permit has alreaday been issued and whether Contractor shall bear responsibility for the quality of such Design solutions? In case Contractor does not agree with designed solutions, please Clarify whether Contractor is due to submit its own solutions and if yes, does that present a justified reason to extend deadline for execution of works? (cl 6.1a of Particular Conditions). Answer: Contractor to execute works according to Alpina Engineers design and specification 5. Responsibility for Design documents - is Contractor responsible for development of As- built Design? (cl 6.14 of Particular Conditions). Answer: As-built design would be the responsibility of the Contractor Defining Cost Management Associate Companies: SouthmLe-—> 6. Insurance ~ please clarify whether Investor shall provide all types of insurance except insurance for Contractor's equipment which shall be provided by Contractor? (Appendix to Tender) Answer: The Employer will only provide Contractors All Risk and 3rd Party Liability insurance. Any additional insurance require including Workers Compansation, Contractors Plant And Equipment, Motor Vehicle, etc. to be provided by the Contractor (For ease of refrence please refer to the Appendix and Particular Conditions to the Contract) 7. Insurance (Appendix to Tender and cl 21.1 of Particular Conaitions) - please confirm that Contractor shall be responsible for the following: a.insurance deductables in case of earthquake - 2.5% of the total loss value, in case it ‘amounts 250.000,00€ - 2.500.000,00€; b. Insurance deduciables 100.000,00€ in case of loss resulting from various losses listed in item 3 paragraph 2, Appendix to Tender. Answer: The Employer has the contractor's all risk and third party insurance policies in Place. The deductions and exclusions are spelled out in the policy. Should the Contractor want to ensure for the deductible and exclusions, then they do so at their own cost 8. Insurance deductables 100.000,00€ - please provide us with more detailed explanation on this provision and what does it exactly include (DES loss, MR102 1 MR120) (Appendix to Tender). This system allowes the Consultants and Employer to recieve and issue information to Contractors. 10. Appendix D ~ please provide us with additional explanation for Apendix D and in which cases it shall be applied.
