3. The operation we are mapping is the Inventory Management.

Our
group has visited the IKEA store and spoken to the senior heads of the
logistic team understanding the flow map from Purchase Order
procedure to the final step, which is when the goods are collected by
the Receiving Manager.

5. Our progress as compared to the planned schedule is going little
behind schedule . The concept and the theortical models have been
understand and are in the process of being applied . The Service we
have chosen is Home delivery and we have collected field information
regarding it .
6. The time schedule is being revised as to collect more field
information regarding the Inventory Management Operation. We have
a meeting with the Head of Inventory on 24/2/2015 at 2.30pm. Once
we get the information we will be able to proceed further with our
project report.
