onmakingacareerwithintheagency,dedicatedtoenforcingourcountry'snationalpolicyboth
athomeandabroad.Withmystrongworkethic,myexpertiseinforeignlanguages,andmy
determinationtoworkwithothers,IknowIwillbepromotedwithintheranksandmysalarywill
increasetosupportmyselfandmyfamily.

andwasamazedbythetypeofinvestigationsfederal,stateandlocalauthoritiesconductedin
ordertocatchthecriminal.

Myfifthgradeteachershusbandcameinoneday,andtoldusabouthiscareer.Hetold
ushowmuchhelovedbeingaspecialagentandheevenshowedushisbadge.Mybrotheris22,
startedpossessingdrugsandthenbecameahighschooldropout.HestrivedtogethisGED.He
failedthefirsttime,andwentforthesecondtime.Whenhefinallyenrolledincommunity
college,hedroppedoutthefirst3months.Hesitshomeeveryday,withnojob,nomoney.My
sister,18,currentlyenrollsinthePAprogramatSt.JohnsUniversity.Shehasaparttimejob

UnitedStatesabout33yearsagowithhismotherandthreebrothersandtwosisters.Hismother
knewabsolutelynoEnglish.Myfatherpaidthebillsandtookcareofmymotherandhisfamily
bydrivingataxialldaylong.By1996,hecreatedhisownmoneytransfercompanywithhis
brothersnamedPlacidExpress.Theyexpandedthisnetworktoover30differentcountriesand
over20statesintheUSA.Its2015andPlacidNetworkisratedoneofthebestmoneytransfer
companiesintheworld.Mydadencouragesmetobedifferent.HetellsmethatIcando
everythingaslongasIampatientwithmyselfandIputtheeffortintoitwhileeveryoneelsetells
