Delivering a Presentation:

Do not put on an accent or behavior

Introduction:
Greetings
Thank the VIPs and the audience

Body language is controlled
Voice and tone is well modulated
Rate of speech is between 125-250 wpm
Maximize eye contact with audience
Use pauses for a dramatic effect
Be enthusiastic

Capture the audiences interest
Start your performance at a steady rate and

then take the audience to a crescendo (if your


style permits)
Gauge the interest level of the audience
Reiterate the benefits of your information to the

audience

During the Presentation:


Answer the audiences questions if you must

but keep it brief


Try do the Q&A in the end
Once you have reached the peak of the

presentation, climb down for the closing

Use a wireless mike so you are not sedentary
Use a wireless mouse to change your slides
