All About Me- Ipad Picture Collage

Students use their creativity to create an All About Me picture collage using an

Ipad and the free app Pic Collage. The teacher will explain and demonstrate

how to open the app and how to use the features. Students will than create a
picture collage using four topics about themselves. They will have a variety of
different tools to choose from. Students will pair up with a partner to help assist
each other in making their picture collages.

Students will all receive an Ipad to begin the lesson.

Than Teacher demonstrates to the class how to access the app and open
it. As well as have students get into pairs for the assignment.
Once students have opened the app successfully than they can begin.
Students will use the camera on the Ipad to snap pictures of themselves
to put in their picture collages.
Students can use a variety of text styles, fonts, colors, images and
backgrounds to decorate their collages.
After that students will begin to add information about themselves like
what are their hobbies, favorite animal or food, friends names, places
they have visit and any other fun facts.
Once students finish they will share with a partner their picture collage.

Closing/Assessment

Students will be assessed on their final project completion for

including all elements:
1. Picture of themselves
2. Creativity and effort in collage
3. At least four topics of information provided

Self Evaluation of the Lesson

Have a group discussion afterwards to discuss and reflect on the activity. Did they enjoy creating the collages? What
