cultural, social and economic diverse student population.
Advocated for student needs, removing potential barriers to success through individual and group

Participated in school team and district-wide school counselor meetings and professional development.
Administered a needs assessment with 200 freshmen, analyze data, and research interventions regarding
school climate and student connectedness.
Organized a Club Fair with counseling supervisor and ASB student leadership as a response to needs
assessment on school climate and student connectedness.
Assisted in weekly after-school tutorial, providing study skills, supporting individual students and teaching
guidance lessons.
Lead a group for 9th grade males focusing transitioning into high school, improving personal school
connectedness, goals, friendships, and developing means to handling stress, and student identity.
