vik MARCH NEWSLETTER Costumes Please be sure you have marked your child's costume, shoes, and tights with their name and class letter or team name. Please do not wash costumes in hot water or dry them in a dryer. Please wash by hand in cold water and line dry only if needed. Some costumes may need to be steamed out if they have any kind of tutu or netting. To do this you simply need to place the costume on a hanger in the bathroom, turn your shower on hot and shut all doors. This will allow all the wrinkles to fall out of the costume and make it look flufly and seamless. Never use a hot iron on dance costumes. Please only allow your child to wear their costume at performances. Do not let them play in the costume or wear to dance class until after the year end review Class Tights and Shoes All Combo class dancers should be in Capezio Carmel tights, and either black tap shoes or pi ballet shoes. Hip Hop classes should wear either black or white tennis shoes. Class JT will be wearing, Tan Half Soles, Female tumblers need to wear a white tank top or leotard and purchase a pair of tumbling shorts if haven't already done so. If you do not have shorts please tell your teacher. All team members are required to attend. We would love to have any combo class dancers attend in the beginning category as well. This will be a great oppurtunity for all dancers to learn, and experience some new instructors. Dates for this will be June 10th-12th, with a special showing for parents the night of the 12" to show off what the dancers have learned, The Fee for intermediate and advance dancers will be $150 and for beginners $90. If you pay this amount by May Ist, your dancer will receive a free tank top, Registration forms will be coming out in April, along with more information, . Mark on your calenders team auditions for the 2015-16 season will be held July 30th-Augustl st.
