RESOLVED, That the _________ (Organization Name) calls on all members of the North Carolina House and
Senate to cosponsor, support, and pass into law House Joint Resolution* ___ and Senate Joint Resolution* ___
to ratify and affirm the Equal Rights Amendment to the U.S. Constitution as proposed by the U.S. Congress on
March 22, 1972, and ratified by 35 state legislatures; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the _________ (Organization Name) pursue grassroots and legislative
strategies for passage of the ERA.
