Reading Goals
- Read with sufficient accuracy and

fluency to support comprehension. Read


on-level text with purpose and
understanding.
-Compare and Contrast two or more

versions of the same story


- Use words and phrases acquired

through conversations, reading, and


being read to, and responding to texts,
including using adjectives and adverbs to
describe
-Acknowledge differences in points of

view of characters, including by speaking


in different voices for each character
when reading dialogue aloud.

Writing Goals
-Write informative/ explanatory texts in
which they introduce a topic, use facts
and definitions to develop points, and
provide a concluding statement or section.

Math Goals
We will be learning how to use and find the
total number of objects arranged in
rectangular arrays with up to 5 rows and 5
columns.
We will mentally add and subtract 10 and 100
to any given number.
We will add and subtract within 1000, using
concrete models or drawings and strategies
based on place value, properties of
operations, and/or the relationship between
addition and subtraction
