IP-Max Upgrade Procedure

This document provides the procedure used to upgrade a Fast Ethernet IDM (Indoor Module)
or Gigabit IDM, to a higher bit rate.
To upgrade your system to a higher capacity, make sure you have the following:
CeraView version 2.05 and up
New license (upgrade code)
FlexibleIP software (in a zip file)

Upgrade Procedure
Note: the flexible IP application runs only on Windows OS.

Save the application on the desired folder on the PC.

Connect the PC to the Management IP port (direct connection using Ethernet

cross cable).

Note: Connecting to the system from remote site is possible but may not work due to
Firewall configurations.
1. Open the application.
2. Enter Agent IP Address and connect.

3. In the application shall write the MUX serial number of each powered drawer in
the system.
4. Choose Max Bit Rate.
5. Enter the License Key (it is recommended to use copy-paste).
6. Press Update.

Note: any successful or unsuccessful step of the upgrading process is displayed on the
progress status window.
7. Perform IDU H/W reset (traffic affecting)
8. Restart Ceraview.
Note: Open the application again to make another upgrade.
