My Philosophy
As a teacher, my goal is to
motivate and support children on their path to
building a bright future. I make education
enjoyable for my students and instill a positive
outlook on obtaining knowledge. Working
with children is rewarding. Observing children
experiencing the world around them, and
assisting them with discovering new
information is truly priceless.
Interaction between teachers and
parents is extremely important; in my
classroom parents enjoy open and
cooperative communication. I acknowledge
and respect each family and incorporate and
encourage family participation in my
classroom. This helps the child and the parent
fell comfortable and get accustomed to
having open lines of communication with their
childs teacher.
In my classroom, my students feel
comfortable to be themselves and let their
imaginations run wild. I interact with each
child and meet their needs on an individual
level, to ensure they grasp the material that I
teach. Learning styles vary in the classroom,
but research has shown that most children
learn best through hands on activities. My
classroom is an environment that allows my
students to take their learning into their own
hands while I contribute and assist their quest
for knowledge. As an early childhood
educator, one of my goals is to impact the
lives of young children and give them an
optimistic outlook on learning. Even through
adversity, I empower my students to become
resilient leaders of tomorrow.
