Nadine Heredia Alarcn was born in Lima on May 25, 1976 (Lima, May 25,
1976) is the wife of the President of the Republic of Peru Ollanta Humala. He
has three children: Illari, Nayra and Samn.
Nadine Heredia Humala is descended from a family Ayacucho, in the province
of Pucar of Sara Sara. Ollanta's mother, Elena Tasso Heredia, is a cousin of his
daughter Nadine. That is, Aunt Nadine is in second grade her husband Ollanta.
Heredia did his secondary education at the Colegio Mara de las Mercedes; then
entered the University of Lima to study communication.4 Sciences and earned
a Masters in Sociology.
Nadine, met the then army officer Ollanta Humala in 1996; three years later
they married and had three children: Illari, Nayra and Samn.
Realiz sus estudios en el Colegio Mixto de Tacabamba, del cual egres como
Premio Excelencia. Luego estudio en la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo, donde
obtiene el ttulo de Bachiller en Ingeniera Qumica y luego el ttulo de Ingeniero
qumico. Obtiene una Maestra en Direccin Universitaria en la Universidad de
los Andes, Colombia y una Maestra en Administracin de la Educacin en la
Universidad de Lima. Adems de un Doctorado en Educacin, en la Universidad
Complutense de Madrid, Espaa.
He was born on August 11, 1952 in the district of Tacabamba province of Chota,
Cajamarca. It is the third of the twelve sons of Don Hctor Acua Peralta
Cabrera Alvarado and Doa Clementina de Acua, persons engaged in farming
and recognized for their honesty and hard work.
He studied law in that city, doctorate in Madrid. He later continued his studies
at the Sorbonne and the Institute of Latin American Studies in Paris.
He returned to Peru where and got a professorship of law at the University. He
was a member of the American Popular Revolutionary Alliance (APRA),
dedicating the match. Elected deputy, participated in discussions of the
Constitution of 1979. In 1982 he was secretary general of APRA and later
appointed candidate for the presidential election.
In 1985 he was elected President to exercise his mandate until 1990, when it
was replaced by Alberto Fujimori. Social democratic leader, was promoter of
Latin American unity to face the International Monetary Fund (IMF). With the
arrival of the Fujimori regime, had to flee from the hands of a command sent to
allegedly eliminate almost was forced to leave the country and conminarse into
passivity of exile.
