Want them to respond to each others work, not much opportunity to

do that
Culturally responsive teaching
Ground in prior knowledge, meaningful way
Strong family connections
Multiple intelligences
Week making trees, get lots done in this classroom, but dont feel they
always spend enough time brainstorming, reflecting, etc.
Like to share about themselves- not much back and forth dialogue
though, want them to learn how to respond to someone elses work
