You will be assigned a currency contract(spot/futures/option) wrt a base

currency (through draw of lots on Friday)
Data Collection and Submission in Excel format (hyperlinked to PPT)
Collect conversion rates wrt base currency from 1st February 2010 to 1st
February 2015 from reliable internet sources
Show the mean, standard deviation, minimum, and maximum values for
exchange rate and percentage change
Show the Graph of the behavior of the exchange rates over the period
This carries 30% weightage (inclusion of all required information,
statistical summary, appearance of the excel report etc).
Research the currency contract you have been assigned and write a summary
which includes the following information. The summary must be presented
in PPT format which should include:
Description of the exchange rate behavior over the period
Identification of the key events and/or factors that influenced the rate
Identification of five organisations who used these contracts for
trading/hedging (use annual reports and news articles)
Indication of the sources of work used to prepare the summary slides
This section would include presentation of slides with the content
(maximum 10 minutes for presentation)
This carries 70% weightage (inclusion of all required information,
analysis, appearance of the slides, delivery of the presentation etc).
