A graduated student level course that examines various aspects of advanced material; polymers,
biomaterials, and nanomaterials for the optoelectronics and energy storage applications

1.Understanding the nanostructure and properties of advanced materials


2.Identifying various techniques for the synthesis of nanoparticles and films
3.Identifying various applications of advanced materials
3. (main contents & methods of teaching)
The class will discuss about solid state chemistry, synthesis of nanoparticles and films, the properties of
advanced materials and their technical applications. Students are required to submit a term paper on the topic
that is assigned in class.
