Nancy was very eager and responsive to feedback given to her after her lessons. She was able to reflect very well about her
own lessons and come up with ways to improve her teaching practice. Nancy seems very eager to begin her teaching career
after she finishes her year at UOIT and I see her as a welcome addition to any high school staff.

The students responded well to Nancy. Her manner in and out of the class was very professional and positive. She was an

Overall Comments:
Nancy was effective in the health classroom making sure all students understood the lesson and she welcomed questions from
students. Her delivery of the curriculum improved as she progressed in the health component. She learned to slow down when
delivering her lessons. Her communication skills in the gymnasium also improved over the course of the practicum as she grew
more confident in instructing students in the larger area of the gym.

Overall Comments:
Nancy demonstrated competence in the material covered in this practicum. She taught some of the PSE 4U3 (Exercise Science
course) and was really involved with the PPL 1O2 (Grade 9 P.E. class) In the grade nine course she was responsible for the
human sexuality unit and a unit dealing with games of low organization.

Overall Comments:
Nancy acted in a very professional manner throughout her practicum at Notre Dame. She was always punctual for class and
even stayed after school to assist with the coaching of our basketball team. Nancy worked hard and got along quite well with
myself as well as other members of the Physical Education Department. She was not afraid to ask for help and/or advice and our
department enjoyed having Nancy with us for this practicum.

Overall Comments:
There was a positive classroom environment demonstrated throughout Nancy's teaching placement. The student's responded
well to Nancy's presence in the classroom. Nancy is continuing to work on waiting for full attention before proceeding with her
lesson. Circulating around the classroom will also assist Nancy in ensuring students are on task.

Overall Comments:
Nancy had all materials organized for the lesson and as she continues in her journey this year, she needs to work on the pacing
of her lessons and the amount of material covered in one class. Nancy now realizes the importance of preparing her lessons
with the objective of keeping the students on task and engaged in the lesson for the full duration of the class. This in turn will
improve her classroom management as well.
