SUMMARY

A current first year student at Coventry University studying Business Information

Technology. I am a hardworking, dedicated and determined person who can work
efficiently whether I am in a team, or working independently. I have a very outgoing
personality, which helps me to adapt to different situations. I have experience with
meeting deadlines and completing projects under pressure to a high quality standard. I
have this experience with the coursework I have had during my academic years, and
also deadlines that I have set myself. In addition, as a team player, I am willing to share
responsibilities and take directions to achieve better results.

EMPLOYMENT

Sports Direct: June 2013 February 2014

I had the job role of casual assistant on the shoe department. The tasks I undertook with
this role were serving customers, ensuring all their needs are being met, keeping the
shoe department a clear and clean environment and putting out stock.
Legoland Windsor Theme Park: March 2014- September 014.
I work as a Rides and Attractions assistant. I cater to guests needs and help ride
operators. The main aim of this job is to make an enjoyable day for the guests in which I
enjoy doing so. I had to resume my studies from September and therefore had to leave.

EXPERIENCE

December Annually: Crisis, voluntary work

Every Christmas I take part in a voluntary scheme called Crisis which provides daytime
shelter to the homeless, and with much needed resources and advice. I have done this
for the past two years, and from it gained a huge experience in the wider world other
than my own, also in how to be responsible and improve my peoples skills from talking
with a variety of different backgrounds and experiences.
3-8 October 2011: Work Experience, Asian Star Radio
I learnt how to take responsibilities of the reception, sales and marketing roles
I undertook admin duties
I learnt how to control the radio station and how it is organized.
My employers reference shows that I have a very good: attendance and punctuality,
enthusiasm and commitment, positive attitude, helpfulness, willingness to learn, sense
of humor, initiative, perseverance/reliability in carrying out tasks, ability to work
independently/in a team as appropriate, acting on instructions, willingness to take
advice/criticism, attitude to colleagues/authority organizing self and work.
October 2012 May 2013: Child minding, [Company]
Weekly I have been child-minding a two-year-old child, from 10am-9pm. This has taught
me to be self-reliant and to take charge. I have also had a couple of ad-hock jobs picking
up and looking after children. I have also been asked to host childrens birthday parties
during the summer, which I enjoyed.
