Two faces of America talks about the migrant workers' struggles in the United States

and how they fought for equality. As well as the violence that they have undergone
just to gain the equal treatment that they want. In this story, I learned that equality
is important among diversity and despite of the suffering and abuses, everyone
must invest time and energy with a feeling of hope for the future instead of
bitterness to such uncertainties.
Wanted: A Chaperon tells about conflicts among a rich couple and their children
because of their opposing views on behavior and on family norms. The conflict here
revolves on the parent's want for their children to have a chaperon. I learned that
conservatism will always be a part of our culture and parents will always try to make
our image as clean as possible.
Greta Garbo is about Monina Vargas who idolized Greta Garbo a lot. She imitates
every detail about her even the man of her dream but in the end she found out that
his lover is already married which devastated her and caused her to lose her pretty
face. The story teaches us not to be obsessed with what others have and be
contented. It shows that it is okay to idolize someone but do not put them as high
as God.
