and printer for Art classroom
2015 Art to Remember Fundraising School Coordinator Organized and held
fundraiser project through the Art to Remember company to receive funding for school
art program.
2014-2015 Okaloosa County Tax Collectors Tag Art Program Organized and
held school contest for 5th grade students to create original artwork for county vehicle
tag art program. Had two students recognized at March 2015 School Board meeting.

Creative & Research Biography
Jennifer Elizabeth Furr began her lifelong love of Art Education in 1994 with her
first Black and White Photography class with John Powell at Jefferson Davis Community
College. She continued to expand her artistic horizons with many classes in Art History,
Painting, and Ceramics under the leadership of Larry Manning, while participating in the
Honors Program at JDCC. After receiving her A.A. in Liberal Arts, she continued her Art
Education at Troy University, receiving her B.S. in Studio Art and Print Journalism. She
currently teaches Art at a K-5 elementary school in Northwest Florida, while pursuing
her Masters degree in Art Education through the University of Florida.
