Wellington Building, Binondo, Manila in 1964. The founder, Antonio Tan and his wife, Perlita,
started the single proprietorship and distributed wire ropes, logging supplies and hardware items.
By February 1996, the Company became a wholly-owned family corporation, and transferred to a
new office at 964 Benavidez Street, Binondo, Manila. It began importing materials for logging,
construction,miningandotherheavyindustries.Withitsinevitablegrowth,theCompanysclient
base increased and reached the southern parts of the country.
Later, the Company began distributing steel products, including Mild Steel/Hot Rolled Plates,
Structural Steel Products (Channels, Equal/Unequal Angles and Wide Flange/H and I Beams),
Boiler and Structural Plates. By its increasing roster of product offerings, the Company now caters
to major industries in the country such as shipping, construction, mining, fishing, cement,
telecommunications, sugar, petroleum and others.
In January 1998, the Company moved to its present main office, a six-storey building located at
EDSA corner General Concepcion Street, Caloocan City, Close to its main office are its five (5)
concrete warehouses, four (4) of which are in Caloocan and one (1) in Meycauayan, Bulacan.
Given its strong reputation and credibility as a provider of quality steel products, the Company
maintainsitsstrongbusinesspartnershipswithsomeoftheworldstopsteelmills.Itisalsoa
distributor of Valves from Crane of the United Kingdom.
