Comments:
Great math lesson, Julia! You organized your lesson well including engaging activities for students. Students
were able to see you model the problems then they were given boards to practice more problems individually.
You create a warm learning community whereby students feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and
understanding on concepts. I loved the the new way you choose students to participate...the on line student
generator...great! You used familiar lyrics to help students remember the direction to move the decimal with
multiplying of dividing by 10 or another method of moving the numbers. Loved the discussion about using both
methods and which one works best with them. You handled it like a pro.
