Place & Space:

In order to create a safe space and place for students, and to establish
a sense of community among students and teachers:
1. Weekly sharing Circles: These may not last too long at first
(about one to five minutes at the beginning of class); however, I
expect these to increase in time up to max 10-15 minutes, after
our sense of community and relationship is well established.
Guided questions will be used to structure the sharing circles;
however, this will be a suggestion only. Students are free to talk
about whatever they want or need to.
2. Tea Time Fridays: Every Friday, there will be tea offered as a way
of increasing our sense of community.
Treaty Education:
Treaty education will be permeated throughout the entire semester.
