PLANNING
Discussion and brainstorm on joint statement, mind map and
division of work.
A joint statement expressing our understanding of what is
required for the ICT Integration Project.
A first uncompleted draft of mind map which shows a brief
idea of what we intend to do.
A Forward Planning Document (or 4 lesson plans) that specifies
the teaching and learning that is planned over a four lesson
sequence.
A Project Plan which details what actions have been taken to
date and by who, as well as the actions that will be taken by
each group member and by when to ensure that the Publishing
(item 3b) component is completed on time and fairly.
A statement articulating the integration of three (minimum)
ICT resources that will be used in addition to the Internet. The
statement should include why we have selected the ICT
resources and how they are being used as a learning tool
(rather than teaching tools).
A statement indicating how our project is underpinned by an
established learning theory (e.g., multiple intelligences, social
constructivism, and cognitive theory)
Completed mind map which clearly shows what we intend to
do and how it fits in with the WA Curriculum Framework.

Brainstorm good introductions to the way in which the
learning sequence is introduced so that you draw the learner
into the lesson by relating to the learner's interests or goals
and/or engagingly describing a compelling question or problem
to set the scene for your students.
Design an activity that encourages your learners to reflect on:
what they learned and how they learned it
what the ultimate product was
the extent to which they met the learning objectives
what they did well/not so well and what they would do
differently next time
how the ICT resources supported their efforts
Congratulate the students for engaging with your curriculum

Lesson 2 webpage

Design a series of tasks that span at least four lessons in

duration. Make sure you use at least three ICTs (in addition to
the Internet and the Interactive Whiteboard). Is the Task
significant to students lives and stimulating for the target
audience? Unpack these tasks and sequence them. Break
them down into smaller segments so that learners are clear on
what it is they are expected to do and in what order (if any).
Consider setting students particular roles so that they can take
on different perspectives. Closely examine each segment of
each to ensure that they are underpinned by good learning
theory.
