Position Purpose
Essential Responsibilities
Brailsford & Dunlavey is actively seeking project managers to work on LA based K-12 projects. This is an
exciting opportunity to manage large scale projects that will have a direct impact on the community. The
project manager is typically the primary interface with the client and is charged with effectively managing
that relationship.
1. Manages a portfolio of implementation and/or planning assignments. Closely monitors his/her
assignments and ensures successful and timely completion of project management tasks and
responsibilities.
2. Directs and supervises the day-to-day activities of analysts and other staff assigned to his/her
team. Manages analysts workloads to maximize efficiency and effectiveness within established
work rules.
3. Monitors and evaluates performance, rewarding or correcting behavior(s) as appropriate.
Ensures that appropriate written documentation on employee performance is maintained.

4. Manages the financial and accounting requirements of assignments to include scope pricing,
client invoicing and collection activities, and account reconciliation and closing. Ensures that
receivables are accurate and current, and accounts are closed in a timely manner.
5. Develops, or directs the development of, planning client deliverables to include research,
analysis, writing, document review, or task management.

Supervisory Responsibilities
The PM will supervise and direct a team of analysts and/or staff.
Minimum Requirements

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering.

Minimum five to seven years of full-time experience with the design, planning and construction of
educational facilities or similar facilities.

Experience with LEED projects preferred.

Must possess a valid driver's license.
