Synergy is combination of two or more organisation.

Blockbuster is a big budget film that may consist of popular stars,
good equipment, and high production value. This high production
value will also have high concept (huge idea behind it).
Blockbuster has a global appeal attracting a larger mass audience. It
is often released during the summer time this is because in northern
hemisphere most people have work/school off.
Merchandising is products sold by a brand of film for example:
Spiderman costumes.
The films, Iron man, hulk, captain America and thorn were released
prior to Avengers assemble including one of the characters Nick fury
who was in more than one film. The lead up for this film created in
the other film was by merchandising of products, constant
advertisements and teaser trailers. The unique selling point to
satisfy moviegoers was the synergy itself as it combined the
characters i.e. Hulk and Ironman. The films came out together
making it more appealing.
