There are numerous strategies on how to make learning as fin and giving new

experiences to students. It is all depend to us as a teacher on how to plan the learning session. We
have to be able to gauge students attention by producing more creative ideas as they will enjoy
the learning session in a very meaningful way.
One of the strategies is by providing some teaching aids that can be used in learning
session. This could be executed especially in presentation stage. We can bring any teaching
materials whether it is in virtual or reality. In line with the development of IT savvy, the teacher
could use the technology as the main teaching aid as it will help to attract students attention and
interest. For example, in set induction, the teacher could display any video that is related with the
topic for that day. In my class, I have shown the steps on how a plant is growing up and the
process that occur in photosynthesis. This is because my students would be able to see the
movement and the visual effects clearly. At the same time, it will stimulate on their thinking
skills on how to relate what they see with their daily life.
Furthermore, I would prefer that my students would enjoy hands on learning because I
would bring them to the real place if it is just around the school compound. This is to give a
better understanding as they can see the things for real. Some students just could not decipher
from the text book and they need something to touch on. As example, I bring my students to the
field to let them feel the structure of leaves and observe any plants there. This will trigger their
mind to think and relate with the topic of they day. Based on my experience, they are able to
remember better and understand the concept well. Sometimes, we just need them to see it and
they can figure it out when answering the questions. That is how a learning session may be fun
by integrating hands on learning with real world.
