Salary: 18,908 -19,995 per annum Ref: WS/523/SSW/WHWC Hours: 35 per week (over 7 day rota) The RSPCA, the World's largest and oldest animal welfare organisation, has a rare opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join the Wildlife Centre Team as a Supervisor at West Hatch Wildlife Centre. The main responsibilities of the post include: Supervision of the daily operation within the busy wildlife rehabilitation centre; line management responsibilities; project design and coordination. The post holder will manage a small team of wildlife assistants and be responsible for annual appraisals, providing support and motivation. The successful candidate should have: an ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively; good communication skills and experience in line management and team leadership; experience in UK Wildlife rehabilitation (3 years) A veterinary nursing qualification and/or a zoology/ecology related BSc or equivalent is a strong advantage, as is any zoo work or wildlife related conservation work. The job will involve some evening and weekend work. This position is subject to a standard disclosure from the criminal records bureau.
