David Evans House, 129 Main Street, Waynesville, Ohio. This house was built by David and Rachal Burnett Evans, the first Quaker couple to be married in the "White Brick" Friends Meeting House, in 1813. The house was the home of Evans' son, Dr. John Evans, who in 1862 became first Territorial Governor of Colorado serving under President Abraham Lincoln.
