In third grade, I told my teacher that I wanted to be a medical researcher. As I grew up, I tweaked it into
becoming a registered nurse and since then, I have never looked back. For years, I have worked toward
my dream of one day being a nurse and joining the organization of Doctors without Borders. No one
told me that this profession or aspiration would be easy, and in fact many have tried to convince me to
reconsider, but I have stayed firm in my choice. I believe that my determination and confidence in my
goals will ensure I excel at Rochester and succeed in becoming a registered nurse.
