Is kicking ISIS out of Tikrit

a good idea?

On March 4 2015 during the assault on

Tikrit (a city in Iraq under ISIS control) the
prime minister
of
Turkey
Ahmet
Davutolu gave
a statement to
Time Magazine
expressing his
Turkey PM Ahmet Davutolu

concerns This is very important. If

Daesh(ISIS in initials in arabic) evacuates
Tikrit or Mosul and if Shiite militias come
in, then there will be sectarian war.
Therefore all these cities, Sunni populated
areas, should be liberated by the
inhabitants of those cities. For
those who
dont know Iraq's main religious practice is
Islam. But like in most religions it has
sections, the two major sections in iraq are
the Sunni with 32-37% and the Shiite

with 60-65%. The PM worries that forcing

ISIS
out
the
wrong way will
ignite
tensions
like
a
gasoline.This is
the case because
ISIS is taking
control of Cities
Shiite fighters launch a rocket towards ISIS

with large Sunni populations and claiming

themselves as protectors of the
minority.there is a risk because some
of the Sunnis might side with the ISIS
causing a divide. Also another reason that
ISIS have interest in that town is because it
is only 8 miles away from Al-awja,this is
significant
because Al-awja is
the hometown of
Saddam Hussein.
They might find
some like minded
individuals in or
near the
town.In Time he stated [The Sunni

guards] should have a role, the Turkish

premier said. In Iraq the government
passed a new law forming national guards.
But unfortunately now Shiite militias form
national guards, while Sunnis in Anbar or in
Tikrit and in Mosul, they were not allowed
to. For us, Sunnis and Shiites ar
e our
brothers, we dont make any difference. But
we dont want to see another wave of
sectarian war.

A hidden threat
In my homeland there is a danger that
make me fear for my life, for my wifes
safety and my children and the children my
children play with and I fear for the parents
of the children
that play with my children, I fear for my
fellow countrymen. But I should have no
fear because of the
police that its their
duty to protect me
and
my
countrymen
yet
the thing I fear is
the police. No one

is safe not children. This whole mess

started because the family of a man named
Ethem Sarisuluk who was shot by the
police, they were trying to hold a funeral
for the deceased but was stopped by the
police because it was Illegal which of
course stated an
uproar
and
sparked violence.
14 year old boy
was hit in the
head with a can
of tear gas and
Man being hosed down by police

was given a head trauma. A student of a

local university was so seriously injured
that he was brought to a hospital for an
emergency surgery. Not even doctors are
safe they have
been beaten and
arrested for doing
their jobs.it has
been so out of
control our prime
minister who has
done nothing has
received a letter
from WMA (world
medical
association) to at
WMA letter

least protect the people who heal the

people you harm. This is a travesty
something we the people of turkey need to

punish. This is my call to action to take this

matter in our

own hands and

make our land
safe one more
by resisting the
command. We
need to show
Man standing up for his rights

the government that we don't work for the

them and remind them that they work for
us the people. We voted them in and that
we have the power to take them out if they
if they do not submit to our demands. They
are nothing without us but we can make a
new more just government.
