I would say that some of my greatest strengths are that I am disciplined, a learner, an achiever, responsible, and consistent. I always strive to do my very best, and expect to give
nothing less than that to my students. I absolutely love working with children, and have a passion for learning that I hope to share with them! Working with children is something
that has always come naturally to me, and likewise, I have always wanted to be a teacher. In the classroom, my organizational strengths benefit not only myself, but the students, as
well as the classroom environment and how it functions.
A personal area of improvement that I would like to work on would be my classroom management skills. Although I can effectively maintain a safe and conducive learning
environment, I would like to do a better job of creating a classroom environment where the students are self driven and monitored. Managing a classroom efficiently means that
there is little wasted time, and that students are always engaged. If children are meaningfully involved in a lesson, and the teacher enables them to follow directions on their own,
they will be self-disciplined. As a result, there will be little to no disruptive behavior seen in the classroom.
