In Oman, a countrylocatedinthemiddle east, oil
is aresource thatis produced. Oilis a bigdeal as
a resource everywhere in the world. Oman is
trying to construct a world class oil refining and
storage complex so they can keep up with their
production service and better refining
system.Looking at articles about oil in oman I
found factson whatthey are doing with it. Inone
of the articles they talk about the prices of how
muchtheoilisboughtwhichis$70a barrel. Their
government was considering to change the price
of the barrel in the 2015 budget but theydecided
tokeepitasisfrom$105in2014.

This oil production is important for oman

because itis oneof thebigoilproductionsinthe
middle east that is not apart of Organization of
the petroleum exporting countries. Oil is also
important because it's a major exportthat other
countriesneed, andinthemiddleeastthey have
somuch, beforesellingtootherstheoilactually
burst out of theground in some places.Their oil
production reach 945k barrels per day in 2013.
Itsimportantthat they have this becausethatis
a lot that people need oil for many things and
couldn'tuseelectricity andmoretolivewithoutit.
Alsomoneytheyneedforthecountry.Being one
of the biggest natural resources in the middle
east isa goodthingtheygotandpowerwithand
selling to others. for religious conflict and wars
over other rich resources and land over there
that other countries want , fighting for whatthe
countryhassotheycangetmoreofit.

Having thisoilproduction many countries

also buy their oil. Countries are buying tons of
barrels of oil for their own countries to give to
their citizensand to liveoff.Since therearealot
of countries buyingfromthem, Omanis making
money to have a better service and refining for
their production. Iftheydidn'thaveasgoodofthe
natural resource not as many would buy which
makethempoor.

This oil isimportantacrossthe world becauseoil

can be used to generate things, for cars and
many more. Thats why countries are buying.
There most buying markets is asia markets,
morethan97%ofthecountry's oil exportswent
to asia. Most of the oil thats bought isusedfor
motorvehicle.

Looking on what they are talking about on the
pricing on production will not affect the Omani
citizens. Oman istrying to avoid negativity from
citizens fromthefallofpriceandeconomy.Steps
arebeing madetomaintaineconomicandsocial
growth, and trying to get up their commercial
activities and encourage investment. In the
future they are getting toward attracting more
international investorstothemarketsandtrying

Starting in the early 2011, there was a series of

antigovernment protests, uprisings and armed
rebellions that are all around the the middle east
and north africa. They called it the Arab spring
because a while back when the uprising was

successful they stuck with that name
. This arab
spring isa popularrevolutionarywaveinthemiddle
east and north africa demanding a totalchange of

the country
. There has been a large group of
people that gather and protest about the
government.

We are one of the country that are moving
quietly and just wanttobe onthepeaceside.I
think they should takea standlike thiswiththe
other countries going, so that they wouldn't
have this arab springgoingon.In liketheother

antigovernment on having unemployment,

. I think the other
countriesgovernment shouldtake a chanceon
changing allthat and making their citizensina
good positions and not having all this
happening. The countries are fighting because
they are trying tofixtheireconomiesandtrying
