INTRODUCTION

Study of traffic volume at this intersection is a method of collecting

information density of traffic on a road junction. The information obtained
through this study is important to know whether the capacity and services of each stem
street to be on their level of ability or not.

Traffic congestion will occur if the volume of traffic exceeds levels

should be borne by a road. This will cause problems for congestion
traffic and affect the smooth movement of the traffic flow. Indirectly rate
the probability of an accident will increase and in turn affect
security. Thus, the volume of traffic studies should be carried out from time to time to
identify the rate of traffic jams before appropriate action can be taken to
overcome all the problems.

CONCLUSION
Through this research, hopefully the congestion and accidents that often occur in
intersection in Port Dickson Polytechnic could be resolved. thus facilitating
and improving road users, especially the residents of the park
nearby and Polytechnic students themselves. Design a traffic light that has
will be proposed to handle the PWD road upgrading projects in
polytechnic forward for consideration by their side.
The data of this study can also be used for future planning as to
increase the number of routes, intersections and system redesign plan costs
future.
