Kate is a manager in Hi-Tech Consultancy and Services. She works very hard and has initiated
many successful changes in the company. Her subordinates respect her and look up to her for
support and guidance.
Recently she was offered a better position with a better pay by a rival company. Now Kate is in
a dilemma. Should she stay with Hi-Tech where she is happy or accept the new challenge?
Using relevant motivation theories, advise Kate on what she should do.
