Some problems may occur, but problems are a way of life. The pros of technology to
accessing students are it is easy to do. It is a lot of web-tools that make it so easy for you to
make up a test or a quiz. All the students are engages in learning if it is group work. Then it
helps students self-esteem. It is a learning experience for students. The cons of using
technology are that it may take certain period of them to get the data information back on certain
test. Some students may not be comfortable with taking test on computers. Each student is
different.
I think paper test should be used also. I think most test are done on paper. Even when
districts do assessments, they are done as a booklet and have scantrons. You should let students
use theirs skills in learning different ways. All students learn different. There are nine ways of
learning, if technology is used how will those nine ways of learning be taught to students in the
learning environment? There may be a student(s) that need decoding help, like hands on. This
type of student only learns better with instructional help in this area (21things4teachrs.net).
Technology can help you meet all your ISTE standards when used correctly. When you meet
the standards in the ISTE, it covers a lot on content. Technology helps with the ongoing learning
environment for each student. Technology facilitates the learning of each student to enhance
their learning. Technology is necessary these days to make sure that a students needs are met
especially in the education field. Technology is making the students of today to be prepared for
society to be a productive citizen in life (edudemic.com).
